The OAUSTECH Journal of Engineering and Intelligent Technology (OJEIT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes high-quality research in both online (ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) and print (ISSN: 3092–8141) formats. As the official publication of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Nigeria, OJEIT serves as a platform for cutting-edge studies in engineering and intelligent technologies, fostering innovation and global scholarly exchange. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, short communications, and commentaries from academics, research institutions, and industry experts worldwide. With a strong focus on interdisciplinary work linking engineering advancements with emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, robotics, and smart systems, OJEIT prioritizes innovative research while also featuring special issues and selected conference proceedings to promote diverse scientific discourse.

Authors are required to strictly adhere to the official OJEIT Manuscript Template when preparing manuscripts. All registration and manuscript submission links are available on the journal webpage. Further enquiries may be directed to the Managing Editor through ojeit-editorial@oaustech.edu.ng. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically; hardcopy submissions are not accepted.
Submission and processing of manuscripts to OJEIT are free of charge with effect from 1st September, 2026. All manuscripts accepted for publication are subject to a flat Article Processing Charge (APC) payable upon acceptance as follows:
The APC covers online publication only. Requests for hard copies will attract additional printing and postage charges.

OJEIT adopts a double-blind peer-review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic quality. Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by peer review to evaluate originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, relevance, and contribution to knowledge. The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
Authors must ensure that appropriate ethical approvals and consents are obtained for all procedures used in their research and that studies comply with relevant institutional and legal guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must be entirely original. Where authors have used the work and/or words of others, appropriate attribution must be provided.
All manuscripts submitted to OJEIT undergo plagiarism screening before the commencement of the review process. The highest permissible similarity index and AI content are 20% and 22% respectively.
OJEIT maintains a strong commitment to research integrity and will take appropriate actions in cases of alleged or confirmed scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, including correction, clarification, or retraction of affected publications where necessary.
OJEIT is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-Non Derivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) International License. This license defines the copyright permissions for the use, sharing, and distribution of published articles while ensuring proper recognition of authorship and maintaining the integrity of the original works.

OJEIT adheres to strict ethical publication guidelines and actively supports a culture of inclusive and representative publication.
Language: Manuscripts must be written in English Language, preferably in British Standard.
Paper Length: The total length of the paper submitted for possible publication in OJEIT should be a maximum of 10000, 6000 and 2000 words for review papers, research articles and technical notes, respectively. Manuscripts must be prepared only in MS Word format with a single column, 10-point font size and single line spacing in A4 size with left margin: 3.0 cm, right margin: 2.5 cm, top margin: 1.0 cm and bottom margin: 2.0 cm, using Times New Roman.

Title Page: The title page must contain the authors’ full names, address or affiliations of all authors as well as the email address of the corresponding author.
Title: The title must be clear, concise, informative and may contain no more than fifteen words aside from prepositions and conjunctions. It must also be in “title case” without abbreviations and formulae where possible.
Abstract: All articles must contain an abstract with a maximum of 200 words as well as maximum of 5 keywords. The abstract must be very clear, concise and give information about the purpose of the study, the method used, major findings and conclusion. It should be devoid of references but may contain recommendations useful to researchers.
